I am sad to inform you that: Ret. Gen. Vessey, John William Jr. who was the Tenth Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff from 1982-1986 who also served in Laos 1970-1972 as Chief Military Advisory Assistance Group, Laos passed away on:

 

August 18, 2016 in North Oaks, MN

 

at the age of 94
